News from Delhi Math October 21st 2010

Dear devotees,

Please accept my dandavat pranams. All glories to Srila Gurudeva and Srila Prabhupada. All glories to Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga. All glories to Sri Sri Radha-Vinodehariji.

Yesterday morning, devotees were encouraged by the fact that Srila Gurudeva’s condition was stable, and all the programs were proceeding normally. Yesterday evening, though, he developed an infection, so devotees were in more anxiety. This phase of the moon is especially disturbing for his condition.

Despite this, this morning he was on the balcony, waving to the devotees assembled below. Who can understand his pastimes and moods? And who can understand where he gets the strength to fight on, and consider his faithful devotees in such an apparently difficult situation and condition?

I have just arrived in Vrindavan and got an internet connection. I will soon be able to phone Brajanath Prabhu and get more detailed news. Certainly we should continue to pray to Giriraja Govardhan for Srila Gurudeva’s strength and health.
